Monthly chanting service is a universal call for peace

On the first Sunday of each month, about 250 members of the Orlando branch of Soka Gakkai International (SGI)-USA chant in unison for world peace.

Soka Gakkai translates to “value creation society” in Japanese.

By continuously repeating the universal mantra, “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo,” individual voices mingle together seamlessly into a soothing rhythm that is continued across the globe by more than 12 million members of the organization in 190 countries worldwide.
